Welcome to Tembii! This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our website (Tembii.com.au), mobile application, or any of our related services.

1. The Information We Collect

We only collect the information necessary to provide you with a great community event experience. This includes:

  • Account Details: Name, email, phone number, username, password, and contact preferences.

  • App & Device Data: With your permission, we may collect your geolocation, device details (like OS and IP address), and access native features like push notifications and calendars to optimize the app.

  • Social & Third-Party Logins (Including Google & Apple): If you choose to register or log in using third-party accounts like Google, Apple, Facebook, or X, we receive limited profile information (such as your name and email address) permitted by your privacy settings on those platforms. If you use "Sign in with Apple," you have the option to hide your email address, in which case we only receive the anonymous, unique relay email provided by Apple.

  • Strictly No Sensitive Data: We do not process sensitive information like race, religion, or sexual orientation.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data strictly to make Tembii work efficiently for you. We process it to:

  • Manage Your Account: Facilitate creation, login, and authentication.

  • Deliver Services: Provide customer support, respond to inquiries, and send important administrative updates.

  • Improve the App: Analyze usage trends to fix bugs and enhance your user experience.

  • Marketing (Optional): Send promotional communications, which you can opt out of at any time. (Note: We never use Google user data for advertising purposes).

We respect your privacy and only share your information in very limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We may share data with specific tools that power our app, such as Google Maps Platform APIs for location services.

  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, sale, or acquisition of Tembii, user data may be transferred as a business asset.

  • We Do Not Sell Your Data: We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Google API Limited Use Disclosure

If you grant Tembii access to your Google account (for example, via Google Sign-In or Google Maps integrations), our use of that data is strictly restricted:

  • Limited Use: Tembii's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
